A little bit of history.
If you think a phrase like "lifelong customer" seems out of place in the fast-paced world of high tech, you may want to have a chat with Jake Ainsworth. Jake has been buying computer equipment from Wallingford Computer Services since its humble beginnings in Rick Wallingford's living room. "I think Rick was still in college back then," Jake recalls. "He got a retailer's license and started a business so that he and his friends could buy components in bulk at a discount price." I take it to Wallingford and they're very quick to get to it."

"Even though I have to bid out everything I buy, it's been 99 percent Wallingford Computer Services," Jake says. "First because of the fair price factor-but even if the price is higher, my boss will still O.K. Wallingford because of the dependability factor."
"A lot of times I'm a very demanding person," Jake continues. "If they can satisfy me, as demanding as I am, I'm sure they can satisfy the majority of the public."
